An initiative of Ujima Developers, LLC and Community Transformation Partners, Inc (a not-for-profit) STEAMIE™ Workspace is an innovation of the Makerspace model that will change the narrative of income inequality in Philadelphia, the manufacturing skills gap in Pennsylvania and the technology talent shortage experienced in the United States. 

STEAMIE™ Workspace will be located at 1115 N. 38th St in West Philadelphia and is a community-based solution to create economic opportunity and access to skills for minorities and women, who are historically disenfranchised from technology and advanced manufacturing careers.
